We have a climate controlled QC/Metrology inspection laboratory, featuring non-contact and contact measuring equipment (CMM / VMM, optical comparator) and utilize SPC and other preventative techniques.

Implementation includes prototype inspection, full dimensional layout, Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) or, first article inspection (FAI)

In Process Inspection, Statistical Process Control (SPC). Data collection and Analysis Systems, Capability Study and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility Report (Gage R&R)

We utilize a state-of-the-art Moisture Analyzer to ensure proper drying of materials—a fundamental requirement of properly molding the advanced hygroscopic engineering resins used in the kind of complex parts Lewis Plastics produces.

We implement the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) approach. The purpose of APQP is to produce a product quality plan which will support development of a product or service that will satisfy the customer.
